Coming this summer.....

Until now, the entry-level Mazda model was the Wicked-Fun, Wallet-Smart Mazda3. This summer, Mazda will launch the sale of the Mazda2 hatchback in the US marketplace.

The sporty and versatile 2011 Mazda2 will be available in two trim levels Sport and Touring. Although each model will receive very identifiable interior and exterior designs, they both will come standard with a 100-hoursepower, 1.5-liter DOHC 16-valve 4 cylinder with variable valve timing.
With the standard four-wheel drive manual shift transmission it also offers a four-speed automatic as an optional choice.

The expected fuel economy is 28 miles per gallon in the city, with 35 miles per gallon on the highway for the manual model and 28 miles per gallon in the city, with 34 miles per gallon on the highway for the automatic. Like all of its latest models the Mazda2 will embody the smiley front grille and bulging front finder arch with a family resemblance to the Mazda3 5-door. The 2’s wedge-shape styling is intensified by the upswept side body crease and the rising beltline. All of these aspects add up to a design that mimics Mazda’s “Zoom-Zoom” spirit, which gives the all-new Mazda2 a surprisingly aggressive look and stance.

Like the bigger MAZDA3, Mazda’s newest hatchback features a familiar interior that combines versatility and sportiness. As is the case with the exterior’s angular lines of its sister car with a rounder theme to match current Mazda interiors. This is especially true on the instrument panel with the large round gauges, the circular HAVC vents and controls and Mazda-signature stereo system head unit.

The main differences between the base Sport and the Touring trim levels are the steering wheel and the seat coverings with the up level Mazda2 Touring featuring a leather-wrapped steering wheel and seats with stylish contrasting red piping used on the seat bottoms and seat backs. The Touring trim level also adds a six-speaker audio system with steering wheel controls, cruise control and a trip computer.

The Mazda2 also accommodates plenty of cargo space holding up to 12.3 cubic feet with the rear seat in place and 27.8 cubic feet with the seat back folded down. Starting at $13980 the Mazda2 will be all the rage this summer. Make sure you're on the waiting list to test drive the newest member of our family! Getting excited yet? Well so are we...

Achoo...

Spring is here and it appears that it is raining Pollen these days. If you start you morning off sneezing repeatedly, having itchy & watering eyes or sinus congestion then you might be allergic to pollen.

Allergen avoidance is the best method of preventing allergic symptoms, but it can be hard to avoid pollen during the spring because it's everywhere—both indoors and out. However, you can reduce your exposure to pollen by following a few simple tips: Limit outdoor activity when the pollen count is high; this will decrease the amount of pollen you inhale. Pollen counts tend to be highest in the morning and lowest after rainfall. Beware of hot, dry, windy days and welcome rainy days that wash the pollen to the ground.

When you have to go outdoors, shower and change your clothes immediately afterwards because pollen sticks to clothing, skin, and hair. (If you have a pet, it can also unknowingly carry pollen into the house.) If you have to work in the yard, wear an allergy relief mask to block pollen and other allergens.

Weekly New Car Special - 2010 Mazda6 $16499

This week our special is a New 2010 Mazda6 i Sport priced to move at $16499. The midsize sedan market is crowded with competition, and until a major redesign last year, the Mazda 6 seemed to flounder at the back of the pack. As Japan's self-proclaimed performance brand, Mazda focused more on exciting driving dynamics than what American family sedan buyers were really looking for -- comfort, reliability, safety and affordability.

The re-imagined Mazda6 that debuted last year was bigger in nearly every dimension than the previous generation. This provided occupants with one of the roomiest cabins in the midsize sedan class. When vehicles make substantial gains in size, we usually expect a corresponding drop in handling ability, acceleration and overall excitement. But that's not the case with the newest Mazda 6, as we've been pleasantly surprised to find that much of the previous athleticism is still intact.

This 2010 Mazda6 i is powered by a 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine that produces 170 horsepower and 167 pound-feet of torque. The EPA estimates fuel economy at 21 mpg city/30 highway.

Big companies with impressive job growth!

Salesforce.com, which makes software to help companies manage customer relations, has thrived thanks to two hot sellers: Sales Cloud and Service Cloud. The latter, geared for call centers, is the company's core product and its fastest growing. A key selling point is that Salesforce's software integrates with Twitter and other social media channels, "taking the old service model and bringing it into the 21st century," said a company spokesman.

CEO Marc Benioff says the company is hiring more sales people worldwide to meet increased demand and is expecting growth to continue in the year ahead because of overall improvement in the information technology environment.
